Adding coloring pages to your lesson plan not only complements your theme activities but is also a great teaching tool.

Theme Activity: While having fun coloring they are also learning about the theme of the week. 

Concentration: Children have  to focus on staying within the lines, selecting colors, and completing the picture. This helps improve their concentration and increase their attention span.

Creativity: Coloring pages allow kids to express their creativity by choosing colors, hues and shades, and experiment with different shades and combinations and create unique artwork.

Fine Motor Development: Holding crayons or colored pencils and making precise movements to color shapes improves their fine motor skills. These skills are essential for writing, drawing, and other daily tasks such as tying their shoes, buttoning a shirt and more.
